The terms that apply to this website, the game preview and the closed-beta waitlist.
This document is a prepared draft for legal review. Highlighted items must be completed by the operator before launch, and the whole text should be reviewed by counsel for the relevant jurisdictions.
1. Acceptance
By using this website you agree to these terms. The website is operated by [operator legal name] ("Pitchside XI", "we", "us"). If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. Pre-launch status
Pitchside XI is in development. The website, including the game preview at /game, is a demonstration of a product that has not launched. In particular:
- No competitions are running and no squads can be entered or submitted.
- No accounts are created and no beta access is granted through this website.
- All players, clubs, managers, prices, statistics and rankings shown in the preview are fictional or illustrative.
- No financial transactions of any kind are available on this website.
3. Waitlist
Joining the waitlist registers your interest in the closed beta. It does not guarantee access, a place in any competition, or any reward. We may invite people in waves at our discretion. Providing an X username or wallet address is optional and does not affect your position.
4. Virtual credits
The game uses virtual credits. Virtual credits have no monetary value, cannot be purchased, sold, exchanged or redeemed, and do not represent any claim against Pitchside XI. The initial product is free to play and does not involve real-money wagering.
5. Market data
Fixture probabilities and related figures labelled as live are sourced from Polymarket's public API and shown for information only. They are not advice, predictions or recommendations of any kind, may be delayed or incomplete, and may be unavailable at any time. Pitchside XI is an independent product. Its sponsors and programme memberships are stated on the about page; Polymarket does not operate Pitchside XI, and nothing on this website is a statement by Polymarket.
Links to Polymarket lead to a separate service. Any trading there is independent of Pitchside XI, governed by Polymarket's own terms, and may be restricted or unavailable in your jurisdiction. Pitchside XI does not facilitate, execute or advise on trades.
6. Web3 features
Any references to wallets, onchain records, achievements or rewards describe prospective functionality that is not launched. Pitchside XI has not issued any token and has no token ticker, supply, contract or exchange listing. We make no promise of rewards or returns.
7. Acceptable use
- Do not attempt to access non-public parts of the service or interfere with its operation.
- Do not submit false information or use automated tools to sign up to the waitlist.
- Do not copy, scrape or redistribute the site's content or data beyond what the law allows.
8. Intellectual property
The Pitchside XI name, logo, design and content are owned by [operator legal name] or its licensors. Third-party names and marks, including Polymarket, belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify those services.
9. Disclaimers
The website is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free or that any information on it is accurate or complete.
10. Limitation of liability
