Pitchside XI
About

A fantasy game that pays attention to price.

We think the most interesting question in football is not who is good, but who is better than the market thinks. Pitchside XI is built around that question.

The story

Fantasy football taught millions of people to think like managers: budgets, fixtures, form, formations. Prediction markets taught a different group to think in probabilities and prices. Crypto taught a third group that ownership and records can be open and portable.

Pitchside XI sits where those three worlds overlap. It keeps the parts of fantasy football that work, adds a live market for player valuations, and rewards managers who find value before everybody else. The Web3 layer is optional and arrives only where it earns its place.

We are building in the open, in phases, and we are careful about claims. The numbers you see on this site are illustrative until the beta is live.

How we work

Four principles we will be held to.

01

Football first

If the game is not fun without a wallet or a market, it is not finished.

02

Explainable prices

Every valuation shows its inputs. Managers should be able to disagree with the model on the record.

03

No invented traction

No fake users, volumes, investors or partners. Status and backing come from configuration, not copy.

04

Phased, not dated

We publish milestones and their status. We do not publish launch dates we cannot keep.

Team

The people building it.

The founding team will be introduced closer to the closed beta. We do not list advisors, investors or supporters without their written approval.

Backing

Verified backing only.

We publish organisational backing only when the relationship is documented and the organisation has authorised the use of its name. Personal support from people who work at a company is described as exactly that.
